Kissed by Dhauladhar Snow, Awakened by Summer's First Light
At the foothills of the mighty Dhauladhar Mountains, where cool Himalayan winds meet the warmth of summer, the season's first tea leaves awaken beneath the golden dawn. For generations, Kangra's tea gardens have thrived in this unique mountain valley, nourished by mineral-rich soils, crystal-clear streams, and the mist that drifts down from the snow-capped peaks.
Handcrafted from the first tea of summer, Kangra Amber Musk Noir – Summer Dawn Reserve captures a fleeting moment in nature's calendar. As the morning sun rises above the Dhauladhars, the tender leaves absorb the freshness of the mountain air and the vitality of the new season, developing the distinctive musky character for which Kangra teas are celebrated.
Each cup tells the story of a Himalayan summer morning — bright with notes of ripe fruits, layered with honeyed sweetness, and deepened by a rare amber warmth. Like the first rays of sunlight touching the mountains after a long spring, this tea is vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable — a rare tribute to the timeless beauty of Kangra Valley.
DESCRIPTION
Kissed by the cool summer mists drifting through the majestic Dhauladhar Mountains, this is the first tea of the summer harvest — a rare small-batch creation crafted exclusively for TeaGardenia. Born in the serene heights of Kangra Valley, it captures the vibrant soul of the Himalayan summer in every leaf.
The journey begins with bright, sun-ripened fruit notes reminiscent of black grapes and juicy peaches, unfolding gracefully across the palate with remarkable sweetness and depth. As the cup evolves, delicate nutty nuances of pine nuts emerge, gently intertwined with hints of dark chocolate, creating a rich and comforting heart. Along the edges lingers a touch of wild honey, adding softness and warmth to the experience.
What makes this mountain tea truly captivating is its enchanting musky character — a rare signature of Kangra's high-altitude terroir. The musky notes slowly rise toward the finish before fading into lingering cedar wood accents and whispers of citrus brightness. Elegant, soulful, and beautifully layered, this exceptional summer harvest offers a taste of the Himalayas in its purest form — a cup that lingers long after the final sip, carrying the mist, forests, and mountain breeze of Kangra Valley.
