DESCRIPTION
A brisk and bold tea from one of our favourite tea estate of Assam. The black leaves interspersed with golden tips blooms with malty and chocolaty aroma. A medium-bodied , brisk and robust cup starts with vibrant malty characters which hum along throughout the length of the cup. Delectable note of date palm is discernible towards the middle. A sweet layer of raisin can be picked around the edge, rendering a mellow texture and rounded feel on palate. Soft stone-fruity note shore up towards the finish and leaves a lingering tone on your taste buds.

Mangalam Tea Estate, Assam
Located in Sibsagar district of Assam, Mangalam tea estate has distinction of being the only tea garden its kind due to its unique bush plantation. Spread across 188 hectares, the tea estate is a proponent of the ideal layout of modern tea plantations. The entire garden has been planted with a spacing of 18" * 18" * 18" * 18" with a plucking patch of 2'6" having a population of 42480 plants per hectare. Mangalam tea estate produce very high quality orthodox and CTC teas fetching premium prices due to its quality and demand.
