Established in 1858, Badamtam is one of the foremost estate in respect to its welfare standard. All its tea is organically cultivated. Located in Lebong valley, 17 kilometres west of Darjeeling town, facing the Himalayan range with enchanting views of the majestic Mt. The name of the estate could have been derived from Lepcha word, which meant a bamboo carrier water.
