DESCRIPTION

After a long break the classic Glenburn white peony is back. one of the biggest arrival of this season .The tea has sweet and floral notes with no astringency. This year's harvest is in may when the pruned tea bushes produce the finest tea buds. The large proportion gives the white peony a delicate ,yet complex flavour. this is also why this tea is only available in small quantity

Glenburn Tea Estate, Darjeeling

One of the finest tea estate in Darjeeling, a place where the third highest peak of the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga ,ascend over tea the bushes. Started by a Scottish tea company in 1859 and spread in 750 hectares.Two snow-fed Himalayan rivers The Rungeet  and Rung Dung, wind their way through the estate, nourishing Glenburn tea in their path. It is home of 700 families. 350 women from Glenburn's 8 villages set out each morning to pluck tea quality tea leaves.
