Nilgiri 2019 Silver Floret White Tea

DESCRIPTION 

Introducing the first-ever aged tea from the lush green hills of Nilgiri. These beautiful buds were plucked in June 2019, naturally sundried, and then kept for natural ageing. The tiny, tender buds exude sweet floral attributes and a hint of nutty accents. The resulting cup is delicate and immensely smooth. From the first sip, a smooth floral note reminiscent of the seasonal summer wildflowers of Nilgiri emerges. The floral tone is long and runs throughout the length of the cup. A well-balanced creamy honey layer decorates the middle, with a light, sweet character. As you continue to savor the tea, a light nutty accent adds a twist around the edge. While you enjoy these delicate notes, the cup comes towards the end, where a light dry spices note, similar to cinnamon and clove, with light sandalwood accents, gives a nice smooth nutty finish to this exquisite aged tea of Nilgiri.
